Your Data Stays Yours

UGENT is local-first. No telemetry, no tracking, no data harvesting. You control every request your agent makes.

No User Data Collection

UGENT does not collect, store, or transmit any user data. Your conversations, files, memory, and configuration remain entirely on your machine. There are no analytics SDKs, no crash reporters phoning home, and no background telemetry. What happens in your agent stays in your agent.

You Control Every API Call

UGENT only sends requests to the LLM provider APIs that you manually configure. Every API key, endpoint, and model choice is yours. UGENT never contacts a server you did not explicitly set up. Your provider relationships, usage quotas, and data sharing terms are governed entirely by the agreements you hold with your chosen AI providers — UGENT is just the client.

Hosted Services (Not Yet Available)

ugent.dev plans to offer two optional hosted services in the future:

Context Intelligence Engine

Indexes your codebase or documents for semantic search and knowledge graph retrieval. If enabled, document content is sent to the indexing service.

Telemetry Service

Collects runtime metrics (token usage, latency, error rates) for monitoring and optimization. No conversation content or user identifiers are sent.

Important: These services are currently not available for public access. They are paid services that require explicit user configuration. Until ugent.dev publicly launches these services and you manually opt in and configure them, UGENT will not store, transmit, or process any of your data through them. No data leaves your machine without your deliberate action.

In summary: UGENT is a local-first agent framework that respects your privacy by design. No data collection. No tracking. No third-party sharing. Every LLM request goes only to providers you choose. Optional hosted services will require explicit opt-in and are not yet operational.
