Start with schema-only indexing — table names, columns, foreign keys, and relationships — at negligible cost. Then opt into row embedding table by table, choosing exactly which columns to embed. No accidental mass indexing, no surprise bills.
Incremental Sync
UGENT tracks watermark columns to sync only changed rows on each pass. A content hash skips identical records, so re-syncs cost a fraction of the initial load. Schedule periodic syncs or trigger manually — your data stays current without constant full scans.

Local Only
UGENT connects to Salesforce from your own machine using your own API user. No third-party cloud processes your data. No credentials are shared.
Approval Required
Every write operation requires explicit human approval before execution. Low-risk read operations are auto-approved; all changes go through you first.
Scoped Permissions
UGENT can only access what your Salesforce API user's profile and permission sets allow. Salesforce enforces the boundary — UGENT cannot bypass it.
Full Audit Trail
Every Salesforce operation — read or write — is logged with who requested it, who approved it, what tool ran, and what changed. The audit trail captures requester, approver, source channel, before/after summary, and timestamps. Nothing happens silently.
